INFORMATION CONCERNING LIMITED EDITION PRINTS BY JERRY STYBERG
WHAT IS A LIMITED EDITION PRINT?
A Limited Edition print is one of a set number of prints of the same image, the same size and produced with the same printing process. Each print is signed and numbered. Once the edition has sold out no further prints will be available.
HOW MANY PRINTS ARE IN EACH EDITION?
Each of the images in Jerry’s Limited Editions has a total of 50 prints plus artist's proofs. The prints in each edition are numbered sequentially from 1/50 to 50/50. The number of artist’s proofs that are part of the edition will always be advised when the image is released. Typically there are no more than 5 artist's proofs in any edition.

INFORMATION ABOUT DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND PRINTING
All images in the Limited Edition print collection are printed using digital ink jet printing technology. Archival pigment inks are used to produce giclee (pronounced g-klay) pigment prints.
The French word “giclee” is a feminine noun that means a spray or spurt of liquid. The word may have been derived from the French verb “gicler,” meaning “to squirt.”
The term “giclee print” connotes an elevation in printmaking technology. Images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates, including canvas, fine art and photo-base paper. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction. A digital pigment print, sometimes referred to as a pigmented paper print, is a digital image rendered onto an uncoated, natural fiber substrate with pigment inks. Inks and paper used in this printing process are archival with a life expectancy of 100+ years, when properly protected from exposure to extreme environmental conditions.
